Eidos 7 Overview
Eidos 7 serves as the introductory area in Stellar Blade, a linear progression that lacks an in-game map. This region is central to the main mission “Scavenger Adam” and is home to various essential collectibles. Throughout Eidos 7, players will encounter numerous items crucial for character progression and lore, including Passcodes, Memory Sticks, Beta Cores, Body Cores, and Exospines. The map features several camps for resting and resupplying, as well as supply boxes containing valuable resources.
Passcodes and Memory Sticks
Eidos 7 contains several Passcodes and Memory Sticks, which often provide access to new areas or offer insights into the game’s narrative.
Passcodes
- Gateway Passcode: This passcode is essential for story progression. Upon arriving in Eidos 7, you’ll find a locked gate. Scan the body located at the back of the room to the left to obtain it. This opens the gate beside the legionnaire where the passcode was found.
- Pharmacy Passcode: Before navigating a platforming section involving monkey bars and a wooden plank in the water, you’ll find a corpse slumped against a wall. Scanning this body reveals the passcode for the pharmacy, which is located on the road just beyond the library.
- Parking Lot Passcode: This passcode is required to advance the story within the Abandoned Station. Dive underwater in the flooded underground parking lot to the right of a locked door. Scan the body to acquire the passcode and open the door.
- Rear Gate Passcode: After defeating a Naytiba in front of Barker Drugs, climb a yellow ledge directly opposite the monorail station. Scan the body to get this passcode. It opens the gate marked “Ground 317,” situated to the right of the monorail station.
- Oblivion Quest Passcode: This passcode is dropped by a treasure bot after it is defeated, as part of the “Oblivion Quest.” The associated lock is found by heading down the previously flooded plaza and entering the Wayfield Diner to the west.
Memory Sticks
- Legionnaire 451’s Resolution: Located on a dead legionnaire on a ledge situated above a small lake, past the first passcode gate.
- The Last Words of the Hopeless: Found on a dead legionnaire on a ledge just before a series of swinging bars.
- Louis’s Testimony: Discovered on a dead legionnaire at the top of a building, near the third camp in the area.
- Lament of Despair: Located on a dead legionnaire behind a Cricket Slasher guarding a passcode chest.
- Legionnaire 204’s Memory: Found on a dead legionnaire down the ramp after the Abaddon boss fight.
- Outcry to the Sky: Situated on a dead legionnaire in front of a lion statue, outside the parking tower.
- Legionnaire 302’s Sorrow: Located on a dead legionnaire in an area accessed after climbing a large orange box, following the initial Bulldozer fight.
- Request to Mother Sphere: Found on a dead legionnaire tucked between bushes, in the shade within the Parking Tower area.
- Respite of the Hopeful: This memory stick is found on a dead legionnaire during the main mission.
Cores and Exospines
Cores and Exospines are vital for enhancing Eve’s combat capabilities and survivability.
Beta Cores
- Beta Core #1: After your first encounter with a Heavy Guardian and being instructed to use barrels to deal with Mutated Creepers, take the alleyway to the left. Scan the body protected by a Guardian to obtain this Beta Core.
- Beta Core #2: Outside the monorail station, head left past various iron staircases. A corpse slumped among debris contains this Beta Core.
- Beta Core #3: In the same area as the Armoured Pack for the drone, a corpse slumped against a mesh fence holds this Beta Core.
Body Cores
- Body Core #1: At the bottom of the Parking Tower, scan the body located under the staircase.
- Body Core #2: After leaving the Parking Tower, take the left path past a large crater. You’ll reach an underpass, and in front of a building named Connia Kolzen, a glowing corpse contains this Body Core.
- Body Core #3: Following the Dozer fight, exit the Parking Tower to the right and head the opposite direction from the waypoint. You’ll find a small pub; scan the body inside for this Body Core.
Exospines
- Chain-Type Exospine: After defeating the Abaddon and descending the Parking Tower, this Exospine is found in a red box in the far-right corner of the second floor.
- Grenadier-Type Exospine: Outside the monorail station, take the path to the left, away from the Hall of Records. Use yellow handholds to reach a courtyard where you’ll fight a Mutated Hydra. To the left of this area, near the floodgate terminal and protected by Mutated Creepers, is the Grenadier-Type Exospine.
Other Notable Collectibles
Beyond cores and exospines, Eidos 7 offers other valuable items for customization and progression.
- Camps: Eidos 7 features multiple camps including Camp #1 (before crossing the collapsed highway), Camp #2 (after climbing a ladder from a flooded area), Camp #3 (on the Parking Tower roof after defeating Abaddon), Camp #4 (in front of a statue after leaving the Parking Tower), Camp #5 (at the bottom of the staircase outside the monorail station), and Camp #6 (after the clock tower puzzle and dropping down collapsed buildings). Supply Camps are also present, with Supply Camp #1 being activated as part of the story atop the Parking Tower, Supply Camp #2 immediately after climbing a rope out of a lift shaft in the Abandoned Station, and Supply Camp #3 found immediately after opening the Rear Gate with its passcode.
- Design Pattern: Planet Diving Suit (7th) V2: When you arrive at the Flooded Commercial Sector via monorail, go through the door at the bottom of the stairs. Open the red chest in this room to acquire the blueprint.
- Drone: Armoured Pack: After Camp #6, swing across some bars and instead of crossing to the waypoint, climb up using yellow handholds. The Armoured Pack for the drone is in a red box behind some red girders.
- Can: Elixir Carrot: This can is only accessible after draining the sewage during the Oblivion quest.
